The VP of Brand Sales is responsible for recruiting and retaining a network of brand partners (CPG suppliers) that share our mission of bridging the gap between consumer and producer. Cole, our CEO, has managed all brand partner relations to date, so this position will require transferring accounts from Cole and building processes that allow us to scale the Brand Sales department as we seek to expand our retail footprint nationwide.

  • Cast vision for a Brand Sales department that is deeply loved by our brand partners
  • Build processes that enable us to scale quickly
  • Assume ownership of all existing brand partner relationships
  • Assume ownership of all sales materials
  • Review analytics for current programs and recommend structural changes
  • Partner with Story Success team to run experiments analyzing which brands, videos, etc. perform best
  • Partner with Data and Design teams to improve Campaign Performance Reports
  • Quick to love people – we believe this is the foundation for effective sales
  • Obsessed with simple, elegant communication (in both message and design)
  • Extraordinarily analytical / strong affinity for the quantitative
  • Joyful and composed on the good days as well as the bad
Structure & Compensation
  • Salary: $120k - $150k
  • Stock Options: 0.1% - 1.0%
  • Employee coverage for health, dental, and vision (gold plan)
  • Unlimited vacation (minimum of 10 days)

  • $100/month craftsmanship stipend
