The ideal candidate

  • Has 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Is detail-oriented and able to manage projects from inception through execution
  • Understands digital and content marketing strategies
  • Is experienced with CRMs and user analytics
  • Is experienced with digital advertising
  • Is able to edit and write HTML, CSS, and work within Content Management Systems
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Is able to work in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Enjoys setting deadlines and deliverables for projects 
  • Is passionate about tech and community

The job responsibilities 

  • Support and facilitate the development and implementation of marketing content that inspires, provokes and informs our audience, which is a mix of career changers, employers, and visionaries 
  • Facilitate the development of brand standards, guidelines, and manage the Momentum brand in the market
  • Translate business development objectives and strategies to develop marketing objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate student and customer acquisition
  • Drive the digital marketing strategy including paid advertising, search engine optimization, website, social media
  • Plan and administer the Marketing budget
  • Develop promotional materials including marketing collateral, digital marketing assets, and printed materials
  • Work closely with the CEO to identify and drive marketing related activities to support corporate strategy and student generation activities
  • Edit content on the marketing website through a content management system (CMS)
  • Manages social media as a tool to support the content and marketing efforts while monitoring any external communication generated from social efforts 
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and marketing agencies, as needed
  • Manage the development of content including testimonials, white papers, blog content
  • Develop and administer the Marketing technology; including client and prospect information, contact lists, CRM, email and marketing automation platforms, and other systems as needed
  • Lead marketing events, conferences, and tradeshows as relevant 
  • Last but not least, develop strong and respected relationships across the team and with Momentum’s investors and partners in order to understand the daily activities and operations of the business and future opportunities.

  • We offer 15 vacation days a year plus holidays. These days are for you to take a vacation and unwind away from work. We will be diligent in not contacting you while you’re on vacation.   • Our team interacts with students daily. If a student has to miss a day because they are sick, it is a big deal. If you are sick, we need you to stay home. Sick days are not considered vacation days, and we have not assigned a limit. We trust our employees to know when they need to stay home to get well and not spread illness.
