Ready to lead the development of one of the fastest growing companies in North Carolina?
Flyexclusive is one of the nation's largest private jet fleets, based in Kinston, North Carolina. They are a rapidly growing company (~$200M ARR this year) that is moving away from dependence on outside contractors and seeking a dev leader, a direct report to the President, based in Durham to build a dev group.  
We are in active search mode both for the lead and a few more experienced developers
Some of the items in the product queue:
-A consumer and pilot app (modeled on Uber)
-Internal workflow tools for automation/optimization
-An AI/ML model that uses FAA data to model demand and integration with marketing campaign

Lead of Development Responsibilities:
·Analyze end-user needs.
·Backend development.
·Perform coding assignments.
·Review code work for accuracy and functionality.
·Create and implement design plans.
·Analyze code segments regularly.
·In consultation with team members, delegate tasks to team members.
·Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
 
 Requirements:
·Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related. Masters preferred.
·Extensive experience in software development and its technologies. (5 – 7 years)
·Deep understanding of of distributed data model.
·Strong knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, JSON, Node.js, React, React/Native, C#, Python, SQL, and NoSQL.
·UI/UX experience, a plus.
·Experience working on large-scale software projects.
·Experience in use of version control software.
·Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
·Strong knowledge of user interfaces.
·Strong knowledge of HTML and web frameworks.
·Good communication skills.
·Good time management skills.
·Good team skills.
·Strong analytical skills.
