Do you love making process run more effectively and efficiently? We're looking for a smart, motivated and meticulous QA Automation Engineer who can help us architect a robust automated testing framework to increase the power of Leo, our healthcare education platform.
Under the guidance of senior management, our QA Automation Engineer will provide leadership for architecting a complete automated testing framework for every stage of our development cycle, including:
Design and execute tests. Validate our work by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically or at will- as well as regression testing for after-the-fact confirmation once code has deployed.. This includes helping us to determine the priority for various testing scenarios and creating the plans to run those scenarios.
Identify and document bugs. You seek and we destroy - creating bug reports or handling reports from external sources, highlight problems and, when possible, their fixes, for our development team.
Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Help develop a roadmap for building out a robust automated testing framework for all DaVinci engineering practices. This includes helping with any related cost or time estimates, and coordinating with team leadership to help prioritize company resources.
Collaborate and advocate for quality assurance across the organization. At DaVinci you will have the opportunity to interface across multiple teams, and will play a leading role in keeping QA at the fore of all of our work.
Skills you'll need:
Programming – familiarity with common QA tools and scripts, potentially including Selenium, Jenkins, and GitLab.
Analytical skills – Examine bug reports written by humans, which can be vague or incomplete, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes.
Critical thinking and problem solving – Use problem-solving skills to uncover patterns, find bugs and suggest fixes for them.
Attention to detail – you must be highly detail oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and work well with hewing to specifications.
Communication – strong verbal and written communication skills will be key to effectively collaborate with the team and get the job done.
Professional curiosity – stay up to date with the latest industry trends and solutions, and push the team towards their consideration.
We treasure our team, and we are humbled at how they invest their brilliance, creativity, and commitment into growing DaVinci Education every day. So we want to give you a lot of nice things in return, like:
