Our Full-Stack PHP Programmer/Analyst will:

  • Establish, maintain and improve technical solutions that will address client needs, with a focus on enhancing the value of our enterprise software solution and contributing to its viability and stability
  • Handle bug fixes and code reviews to keep the system running optimally
  • Roll out new functionality including front-end improvements (Data dashboards, DataTables, continuing UX improvements) as well as enhancing back-end performance
  • Enhance compliance with WCAG 2.0 accessibility requirements
  • Help to upgrade PHP and related elements of the software
  • Database configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for product data feeds, live data collection, and other programmatic interactions with client systems
  • Perform product upgrades via code merges; resolving customer technical and IT issues related to the product implementation
  • Bringing a strong systems analyst viewpoint, along with logical, analytical and critical thinking skills, to all projects and tasks
  • Contribute ideas for product and systems improvement
  • Respond promptly to all communication requests, participation in all necessary calls and meetings (both internal and client-facing)
  • Deliver all work product in a timely and efficient manner
  • Invest your enthusiasm and energy in the work of the company, and interact productively with fellow team members to move rapidly and successfully toward the company's goals
  • Bring a flexibility and willingness to take on a range of other duties as assigned
 Skills you need:

  • Be a keen critical thinker who knows how to approach, interpret and solve problems of all kinds. You are someone who doesn’t stop until the problem is solved!
  • Be able to see the big picture AND sweat the small stuff, too
  • An agile, flexible mindset but also the ability to keep yourself on track – a sense of humor helps, too
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines. You don’t need much direction to dive in, and you follow through – every time
  • Be meticulous in your attention to testing and Q/A; be passionate about turning out a quality product
  • Bring an entrepreneurial spirit and be capable of working independently (and remotely), but you also dig being part of a nice, smart team
  • Be driven by endless intellectual curiosity and a deep desire to solve problems - and able to keep your sense of humor while doing it
What it takes:

  • 3-5+ years progressive experience as a full-stack software engineer, programmer/analyst or application architect – especially working on backend database coding
  • Very strong background in mySQL, PHP and javascript
  • Willing and able to meet exacting standards for coding style
  • Extra gold stars if you have a good eye for UI/UX enhancements and/or experience with development that meets WCAG 2.0AA standards
