Description

The Office Administrator is responsible for a broad variety of support activities to the CEO, Regional Account Manager, and the VP of Finance/Operations. The posted position is part-time, averaging approximately 20 hours per week during normal work hours. Days and hours worked can be flexible. The position is located at the Bee Downtown office in Durham, North Carolina and all applicants are expected to be able to work on site.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Bookkeeping responsibilities to include: credit card receipt entry, customer billing and collections, invoice entry, etc. 
  • Managing general Bee Downtown email accounts speaking requests. 
  • Ordering materials as requested by team members. Identifying and selecting proper items at the best price. 
  • Booking and coordinating travel
  • Physically organizing the office and storage areas and maintaining that organization. 
  • Tracking materials required for events and making sure adequate supplies are on-hand. 
  • Run local errands - to/from storage unit, shipping/postage, to/from vendors. 
  • Data entry - email lists, customer data. 

Successful Candidates Must: 
  • Have experience with Quickbooks Desktop.
  • Have the flexibility to work in a start-up environment with constantly changing plans and expectations. 
  • Be able to work within a fast paced environment.
  • Have reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement for any work use of your personal vehicle. 
  • Experience with Google Suite of applications and/or Microsoft Office. 
  • Have exceptional organizational skills. 
  • Be team and detail-oriented. 

Successful Candidates Should: 
  • Have experience with Salesforce or other CRM tool. 
  • Have experience with Squarespace.
  • Have an interest in bees and beekeeping.
