As a sales manager you will report directly to the VP of Sales and Customer Success and will be responsible for building and executing the sales acquisition strategy for Adwerx. Most importantly you will be responsible for reinforcing and building the culture of our diverse team through hiring best practices, active team management and coaching, and focusing on your own personal/professional growth and development. We want people who have stories and want to create stories about how their former employees and themselves have grown and how they have contributed to that growth. This requires deep reflective capacity and demonstrated desire to understand the way you and others tick.
Functional capacity is extremely important as well and we need someone with demonstrated capacity to sell, meet their targets and to put the effort in to exceeding past your goals in order to help Adwerx hit their annual growth goals. 
  • Ownership over the sales targets of the team(s) you’re responsible for
  • Hiring, firing, and team growth business cases
  • Coaching sales reps on sales skills, business skills, cultural contribution, life skills and management skills
  • Reporting and analysis on core sales metrics
  • Innovate on pitches, presentations, pricing models, and routes to market
  • Run sales experiments and construct new teams as new products become available or changes in the market take place
  • Help sell and close deals with your sales reps and go on customer calls when necessary
  • Present to groups about Adwerx or at large public speaking events
  • Provide help and guidance to your peers and colleagues

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years management experience (teams of 7+)
  • 2+ years selling experience within the tech industry
  • Ability to generate spreadsheets and reporting
  • Willingness to travel
